Elisabeth Hill weaves in a studio built in her 1840's barn from timber harvested on her property in rural Western Massachusetts.

She works on a variety of looms that range from small rigid-heddle and inkle looms to a wide, 24-shaft loom made in Finland.

A sense of home and the centrality of textiles in warming and defining spaces is a driving force in Elisabeth's work which includes blankets, pillows, shawls, scarves and table linens.
